[ LICENSURE ]

Matland over the last 30 years has chosen some of the best contractors in Athens in order to issue building permits according to the new law N.4759/2020. A construction permit or building permit is a permit required in most jurisdictions for new construction, or adding onto pre-existing structures, and renovations.

[ ENERGY PERFORMANCE CLASS CERTIFICATE ]

The Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are important instruments that should contribute to the enhancement of the energy performance of buildings. Issuing of EPC is a prerequisite for property transfer or rental of buildings and has become mandatory since Jan 2011. The EPC indicates the energy consumption index on a 9 grade scale from A+ to H for a building and Matland has made partnership with the best contractors in Athens in order to deliver first class issuances. Below we list all the type of buildings required to issue an EPC:

  • Residential buildings, apartments, single family houses, non-permanent summer residences regardless their surface area.

  • Commercial stores, offices, hotel services, etc.

Structures for agricultural sector, storage or parking buildings, non-permanent structures for construction activity are exempt from this obligation.

[PROPERTY HEALTH CHECK ]

Many customers own properties that faces issues of illegality such as additional warehouses, swimming pools, yard-walls, other covered areas outside the residence that aren’t legally presented in the building license made when the property was built or renovated. So Matland structured a team of experts who identify all the illegalities at a property and proposes possible solutions in order to legalize the whole property by checking and arranging the payment of the legalization penalty. Then the owner will be in position to sell, rent, renovate his/her property without any inconveniences.
